THE MISSION
LOCAL: We’re joining the movement to “keeping it local”. Buying local is an easy way to directly impact the local economy and know the maker or curator of your purchase.
SUSTAINABLE: Taking care of the earth and raising awareness of our impact on the environment is a big part of our story. We desire to reverse cycles of waste and create more thoughtful shopping habits.
HANDMADE: Our vendors are exploding with creativity and the quality, handmade items they create are expressions of who they are. When you leave our shop with a handmade item, you’re walking away with a story.
THE BRAND
Eclectic CO. exists to reduce barriers to market for quality sustainable and handmade goods.
We are a cooperative retail space that provides support, education, and camaraderie to makers, as well as buttress the communities that we exist in. Eclectic CO. supports local artisans, healthy local economies, and social impact enterprises to promote social justice and environmental improvement.
Opened in November 2018 as a holiday popup store, Eclectic CO. has found its downtown roots to provide unique opportunities to over 80 artisans and makers local to the Front Range of Colorado between our two locations. We are proud to house dozens of social impact businesses making improvements in our communities, environment, and social justice.
THE OWNERS
Two fierce women, changing the way small businesses think and operate.
Eclectic CO. was founded in 2018 by Peri Bolts (right). A background in corporate operations but a passion for social impact left her feeling like there was a better way to do business than the grind of pop-up life that most artisans experience.
Ani Barrington (left), owner of Two Wolves Vintage has been an Eclectic CO. vendor since day one. In the fall of 2019, she made the transition to store management for Eclectic CO. Her heart for servant leadership and passion for community made her the perfect steward of our brand.
In the fall of 2020, the two of them decided to take their partnership and their dreams to the next level and become true business partners. The opening of the second location keeps them invigorated to help more small businesses grow and thrive. Join the journey!
